According to recent figures, the number of people aged 100 and above in the UK has grown by 100% from 8,300 in 2004 to 16,600 in 2024.
Between 2004 and 2024, the number of male centenarians has tripled from 910 to 3,100. During the identical period, the count of female individuals reaching 100 almost doubled from 7,400 to 13,600.
We are excited to receive stories from those aged 100 or over, their family or friends, about what it has been like to experience the past century’s transformative changes and developments.
